She looked at Vasyma and asked,"How old are you?" " I'm 12....." Akiko added. "So.....you're a waterbender....why didn't you admit it earlier?" asked Akiko in a curious voice," I mean, it's not like we're going to arrest you or anything like that....or....are you just too afraid to admit it?" She stared at her waiting for her answer...."Well, whatever it is.....you shouldn't be afraid to admit that you are a bender...I don't see anything wrong with being a bender." She replied assuringly. She smiled then said," Being a bender is fun, don't you think so?
