(Read 116 times) waterbenderpride Guest The Camp. « Thread Started on Aug 4, 2008, 5:27pm » Mei Li was kneeling on the highest branch of a Giant Oak Tree. She was looking down at a fire nation camp. Most of the fire benders were huddled by a big fire in the middle of the camp talking and eating fire flakes. She had been in the tree for a few hours and she was getting hungry, she was in the tree because she was spying on the soldiers to find out where they were heading next. She stood hidden, not wanting to be seen. (She didn't want to take a chance fighting experienced fire benders. Even with her skills) She left her bag at the base of the tree it had all of her important equipment in it, including a tasty apple pastry she bought earlier at the town market. " They probably won't see it," she thought hoping she was right. She started climbing down the tree to go find a place to sleep when she heard,"Hey, Whats that?" Coming from one of the fire benders. Mei Li stopped dead in her tracks. "Oh no," she said quietly to herself. The other fire benders watched as their crony went to examine the brown over the shoulder bag. He picked it up and opened it carefully. He had seen the weapons, Mei Li could tell by the expression on his face. The fire nation soldier looked up into the tree to find a young girl dangling from a high branch. " Hey!" He yelled. All the soldiers ran to the scene. Mei Li jumped tree after tree. One fire bender started burning the tree she was on. She had no weapons with her, so she jumped off the burning tree and came face to face with 14 trained fire nation soldiers...... IC - Haruko had been sleeping in her own tent nearby when she'd heard the commotion break out. She was only days away from leaving on a new mission and was in no mood to be woken up by a stupid camp brawl. However as she stepped out of her tent Haruko didn't find the situation she had expected. Instead of seeing Fire Nation soldiers fighting against each other there was a group of them surrounding a teenage girl. No matter what she had done the numbers were simply outrageous. "That's enough!" Haruko shouted to the soldiers as she walked into the circle and stood face to face with the girl. The soldiers relaxed but remained where they were to keep the girl from escaping. "Who are you and what are you doing here? I know your not Fire Nation, you hardly look it, so why don't you start with the truth and we'll see just how far you get..." Behind her was a guard, he was chasing her because she had enoyed him. Rooa slipped into a croud of people, then she went down an ally way. The guard was no were to be seen. Then she ran down the back street and into the forest. She dodged trees for a few minutes and then suddenly stopped. It was an unusual sight, there was a a woman, a girl and 14 fire nation soilders.
